Cowichan Bay Farm Residents
Our farming philosophy is based on harvesting sunlight to create the best perennial grasslands possible. This, in turn, gives us the best possible dinner plate to raise slow-maturing, flavourful and healthy Rare Breeds of beef and lamb, and Pastured Poultry. We finish all of our animals on grasses and herbs, the plant choices ruminant animals, in nature, make for their own health .
No hormones, growth enhancers or preservatives are used by us. Our farming methods are innovative, sustainable, environmentally responsible, animal friendly and healthful. You will find worthwhile product differentiation with our foods - in the cut, size, colour, and flavour experience.
You will also appreciate the ethical systems you are supporting, which include conservation of biodiversity in agriculture, farm animal welfare benefits, and increased community health and welfare through your support of local businesses. Our agricultural past as well as a promising part of our agricultural future is reflected in your food choice.
