Welcome to Cowichan Bay Farm!
Lyle and Fiona Young are the owner operators of the beautiful Cowichan Bay Farm, the manifestation of Lyle's great grandfather's Canadian dream. Located with the help of native scouts from the Cowichan Band and shaped from the harvest of the west coast rain forest, the Youngs continue to pursue the vision of a sustainable agricultural tradition on the original farm site. Cowichan Bay Farm is located two minutes up the hill from the historic and picturesque fishing village of Cowichan Bay, moments off the Trans Canada Highway midway between Nanaimo and Victoria, British Columbia.

A medium sized Vancouver Island acreage by today's standards, at 38 acres the Youngs have worked hard to contribute to the community by offering breed stock and agricultural food choices, so that agriculture may retain vitality and stability through diversity. The Youngs promote sustainable systems in agriculture by conserving the best ideas from the past and combining them with ethical and viable ideas from the present to move agriculture into the future. The Youngs and Cowichan Bay Farm have been recognized for their valuable contributions to agriculture through numerous speaking engagements and published features in a wide array of respected media.
